“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs (Feb 24, 1955 - Oct 5, 2011).

The temperature in Milan soured into the 30’s while Creative Director Frieda Giannini at Gucci sent androgynous looking models, inspired by Louise Brookes and Nancy Cunard in the images of Man Ray down the runway in stunning Art deco, Charleston style evening dresses, paved in architectural embroidery. Netting and chiffon were hand embroidered with carved plexiglass, prismatic crystals and baguettes overlapping for “decori-sculpture”.
